The Omojo Percussion Duo consists of percussionists Joe W. Moore III and Oliver Molina. Joe is an active composer and performer and is Assistant Professor of Percussion at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Oliver is active as a performer and clinician and is Assistant Professor of Music at Northwestern State University in Louisiana. The two met while studying music at the University of Central Florida and first performed together in 2004. The duo focuses on performing current percussion duo literature as well as composing and commissioning new works for the idiom. They have performed several concerts and presented clinics throughout Texas and the southeast United States.

Formed in the summer of 2016, the quartet consists of percussionists Greg Lyons, Mel Mobley, Oliver Molina, and Joe Moore. The group combined two duos to form the quartet for the 2016 Suar Mill Music Festival in Alexandria, LA. The group has also performed at the 2016 National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy held at the University Arkansas.
Louisiana PAS Chapter
The “Louisiana PAS Chapter” is an organization that supports percussion and percussion education throughout Louisiana. We present Days of Percussion, sponsor events, and promote percussion performances and clinics. Our PAS members also present workshops and concerts in conjunction with other state music organizations. Oliver currently serves as the chapter president.
