Welcome to the website of percussionist Oliver Molina!
Oliver will be performing at the North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference with NSU saxophone professor Dr. Paul Forsyth. They will be performing Tesseract by composer David Werfelmann for alto sax and marimba on Saturday, March 7, 2020.
During the last week of February 2020, Oliver will be going on tour performing the percussion music of Marc Mellits. He will be accompanied by Dr. Joe Moore (Benedict College), Dr. Gregory Lyons (Louisiana Tech University), and Dr. Gustavo Miranda (Nicholls State University). They will be presenting clinics and performing at six different colleges and universities between Chicago, IL and Natchitoches, LA.
Oliver has been selected to serve as chair of the PAS Education Committee. The 3-year term will begin in January 2020.
The Northwestern State University Percussion Ensemble won first place in the Concert Chamber Competition at the 2020 Percussive Arts Society International Convention in November.
